Getting Here

Access Explore Park (Milepost 115) from the Blue Ridge Parkway North from US 220 at Milepost 121, from VA 24 headed South at Milepost 112, Mill Mountain Parkway at Milepost 120, or by the Alternate Entrance at 3900 Rutrough Road. Waiver

I assume all risks and liabilities for myself, my family, and any minor children or wards while participating in the Illuminights Winter Walk of Lights. I understand that this activity may be strenuous and carries the risk of physical injury.

I also grant permission for Roanoke County staff to provide basic First Aid and, if necessary, seek emergency medical treatment for myself or my child.

In accordance with Virginia Code § 15.2-1809, I release the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors, their agents, employees, volunteers, and assigns from all liability, and waive any claims arising from our participation in activities offered by Roanoke County Parks, Recreation & Tourism.
